Meet Dr. Julie Carleton
Fishers Chiropractor Dr. Julie Carleton grew up in Indianapolis, IN; choosing Fishers to open her practice made sense. A great community and location, Fishers is only five minutes NE of Indianapolis. Dr. Julie loves the small-town feel offered in the community, and enjoys the beautiful local parks whenever she has a chance.

Knowing she’s privileged to help people every day gets Dr. Julie excited. She loves that no two patients are the same. They’re more than just pain; they’re people, and her goal is to improve the quality of their life.

An Education in Chiropractic and More
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Purdue University, Dr. Julie felt that the pharmacy profession was not the best fit for her calling and passion of helping people, so she began considering other options that would allow her to put her talented mind at work while making a positive impact on people’s lives.
One day her car was rear-ended, leaving her with chronic pain that traditional methods were unable to relieve. After seeing a chiropractor, she experienced welcome relief, and continued care. She knew then that chiropractic was the perfect career for her.
Dr. Julie attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. A Presidential Scholar, she graduated Cum Laude in 2001. Dr. Julie appreciates how the philosophy of chiropractic differs from pharmacy and the traditional medical model, but is still based on science.
She continues to learn more about her profession with over 100 hours in the study of Dynamic Body Balance. She also has 100 hours towards her Diplomate in Pregnancy and Pediatrics, and is fully certified in The Activator® Method.
Outside the Practice
Dr. Julie enjoys being involved in her community and is a member of Tri Kappa Fishers Iota Chapter as well as the Indiana State Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Julie is also passionate about her marriage of 26 years. When she is not watching Cory play music, you can find her volunteering in the community and at church, developing her photography hobby, traveling, enjoying a Hallmark movie or simply petting her cats.
